Transcription Rate Sheet

Basic Audio Transcript: $70 per audio hour billed to the minute. Includes up to two speakers.

Three to five speaker audios will be billed at a rate of $72 per audio hour.

Five to ten speaker audios will be billed at a rate of $77 per audio hour.

Anything more than ten speakers will be billed at a rate of $87 per audio hour.

All audios are checked for quality before transcription begins. Unclear audios with a lot of background noise, very thick accents, or other circumstances that make the transcription more difficult will result in an additional fee of $10 more per audio hour.

Video Transcription will be billed at a rate of $75 per audio hour for up to two speakers in the video.

Video Transcription with screenshots throughout will be billed at a rate of $90 per audio hour.

Turnaround Times and Rush Service

Please allow up to 72 hours turnaround time for most transcription orders. Rush service is available on audios for an additional fee as follows. (Rush service not available for video transcription at this time.)

1 hour or less audio rush service $10 (weekend rush $25)

up to 2 hours audio rush service $17 (weekend rush $47)

up to 3 hours audio rush service $25 (not available for rush over a weekend)

up to 5 hours audio rush service $47 (not available for rush over a weekend)

Available Discounts

We don’t often offer discounts on our transcription service, but of course there are always a few exceptions to every rule and these are a few of those….

Referral Discounts: Because we do not currently have an affiliate program for our transcription service we do give all clients a referral discount perk. Any time someone places an order with us and lets us know you sent them or they found us through you then you will receive a friendly discount on your next invoice. Again, we do this automatically and you don’t have to fill out a stack of paperwork to get your discounts.

Charity Teleseminar or Event : 25% discount (*audio must be directly related or part of charity event and name of charity mentioned in the audio file)

If you qualify for any of the above discounts you don’t need to do anything at this time except send us your audio. We automatically all of the above discounts to our invoices when they qualify. Easy peasy

Transcription FAQs

What is a cleaned up transcript? Cleaned up transcript means that it is not verbatim. Stutters and sentence restarts are not included. Basically, it’s written in a readable format. If you need a verbatim transcript I can do that as well, just let me know and I’ll get back to you with a price quote. For most projects such as interviews, webinars, and podcasts, the cleaned up transcript is what you want, because it flows nicely.

What is an audio hour? Audio hour refers to the length of your audio or video. This is how we figure out the rate for your transcript.
